On April 27, 1898, Esther and Joseph Emil Eliason were married. Joseph was born in Grantsville, Utah, and came in 1879 to Millville where he grew from youth to manhood.
The first home for Joseph and Esther was near the old mill in Millville.
In 1903, they moved to Pocatello Valley where they took up a homestead, living in Garland during the winters.
Esther served in many LDS Church callings there, and she was called to take classes in obstetrics at Brigham City.
After the death of her husband in 1912, the family moved back to Millville and lived in a part of what had been the Hansen Dairy. These were trying years, but her sons worked to provide living expenses and help themselves through school.
In 1920, they built a new home where Esther spent her remaining years and continued her activity in the Church.
The children of Joseph and Esther are: Joseph Raphael (Ruth Eliason), Orville Lavar (Zelda Morgan), Mton (Jane Rea Meyers) and Newel Grant (Lenna Allen).
