Mrs. Mary Erbach, 78, of Rt. 1, New Holstein, died suddenly late Friday at her farm home, a half mile northeast of New Holstein.
A resident of Calumet County her entire life, she was born July 6, 1877, in the Town of New Holstein, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wichman. After attending district schools she was married to Herman Erbach on Nov 19, 1904. Her husband died March 5, 1948. Mrs. Erbach was a member of St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church in New Holstein and was affiliated with the Woman's Guild of the church.
Survivors are two sons, Gilbert, of the Town of New Holstein, and Melvin of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ed Reimers of Shiocton, Wis.
Funeral services were at St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church, with the Rev. Roland Kley, pastor officiating. Burial was in the New Holstein City Cemetery.
