Banks Adkins, Textile employee
-- ROCK HILL - Mr. Banks Zeno Adkins, 71, of 2260 Ebenezer Rd. died Dec. 14, 1994, at his home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Forest Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Broughton officiating. Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at Greene Funeral Home.
Mr. Adkins, born in Lenoir, N.C., was a son of the late Z.L. and Mary Lovins Adkins. He was a World War II Navy veteran and retired from J.P. Stevens. He also worked at Hoechst Celanese for 15 years and was a member of College Park Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ann Becknell Adkins; daughters, Ms. Judy Stainback of Graham, N.C., Ms. Linda Daniels of Florence, Ms. Renee Marus; brother, Roland Adkins; sister, Ms. Opal Summerlin; seven grandchildren.
The family will be at the home of Renee Marus, 2355 Ole Woods Dr.
