Obituary
Westminster- Linda Adkins Bowen, 73, wife of John Bowen, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded at home by her family, on Thursday, June 9th, 2022, after a brief illness.

Born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Linda was the daughter of the late Banks and Ann Adkins. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School Class of 1967, was a faithful member of Greenwood Baptist Church and worked at Stokes Eye Center for 40 years while living in Florence, South Carolina. Linda was excited to move to God's country with her husband and became a member of Foothills Church in Seneca. She loved working in the garden, in her yard, visiting the cattle on the farm, and all the wonderful adventures her new life brought. She viewed her family as one of God's true blessings and loved each one dearly. Her love and selflessness was shared with everyone who knew her.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of three years, John Bowen of the Oakway Community; her son Rick Daniels (Deborah) of Florence, SC; daughter, Megan Daniels (Justin) of Florence, SC; her loyal sisters, Renee Marus of Rock Hill, SC and Judy Boggs of Gibsonville, NC; forever brother Scott Daniels of Tucaloosa, AL; four grandchildren: Hunter Lynn, Paityn, Austin, and Payton; and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition, Linda leaves behind her family through marriage, Carmen Coe (Aaron) of Atlanta, GA, Brandon Bowen (Stacey) of Charleston, SC, Vaughn Calcutt (Cleve) of Elberton, GA, and Deandre Ellis of Oakway Community, SC; twelve grandchildren: Ezra, Ella, Joshua, Harper, Ava, Landry, Jackson, Charlie, Elise, Judson, Judah, and Lincoln.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place 5:00 pm, Sunday, June 12th, at Foothills Church, 505 Bountyland Road, Seneca, SC, with burial to follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 160 Bethel Church Road, Westminster, SC. The family will receive friends 4:00 pm- 5:00 pm, Sunday, June 12th, at Foothills Church. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 at Greenwood Baptist Church, 2401 Claussen Road, Florence, South 29505

The family is at their respective homes.
