Obit from Connersville Evening News, 3/28/1904. Mrs. Annie Jones, an old and respected resident of the county died Sunday evening at 6:00 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Martin, in Orange Township. Deceased was eighty-one years of age, and her demise was due to dropsy and old age. She was a widow of the late Thomas Jones and besides Mrs. Martin leaves two other children, Mrs. Amaziah Hughes (note: this would be Alice, born Feb. 1843) and William Jones. Hon. Milton Trusler of this city, is a cousin of the deceased. The remains will be interred at the cemetery near Columbia, where the husband is buried.
