Elinor R. Weigle, 70, of Carlisle, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at her home.

Born on April 4, 1936, in Drytown, she was a daughter of Carl and Edna J. Heberlig Blosser and the widow of William K. Weigle Jr.

She retired as an assistant supervisor for the former Bedford Shoe Factory in Carlisle.

Mrs. Weigle attended Letort United Methodist Church in Carlisle. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, wildlife and especially her dogs.

She is survived by four brothers, Ben, Dean and Ken Blosser, all of Carlisle, and Carl Blosser of York; a sister, Dorothy Bricker of Camp Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Marlin, Lester, Sheldon and Dale Blosser and three sisters, Betty Mearkle, Francis Miller and Alma Sheaffer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Terry Albright officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. Thursday, until the time of services in the funeral home.
