Edna J. Blosser, 94, of 256 W. Pomfret, Carlisle, died Tuesday, April 29, 1997 in Carlisle Hospital.

Born Jan. 21, 1903 in Newville, she was the daughter of the Moses and Effie Barrick Herberlig and the widow of Carl Blosser.

She was a member of Evangelical Christian Church, Carlisle.

Surviving are six sons, Marlin, Kenneth, and Benjamin of Carlisle, Lester of Orangeville, Dean of Gardners, and Carl; four daughters, Frances Miller, Betty Mearkle, and Elinor Wiegle, all of Carlisle, and Dorothy Bricker of Enola; three sisters, Helen Reeder, Maude Calaman and Nellie Hurley, all of Carlisle; 32 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Dale and Sheldon Blosser and a daughter, Alma Sheaffer.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Daniel R. Mikesell, officiating. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery, Middlesex Township.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.
