A. B. Johnson, 55, 2906 North Jefferson, dined unexpectedly Tuesday at Sand Springs, Okla.
Mr. Johnson, known as Friday, was born march 6, 1902, at Burdick. He married the former Miss Lelylee Rice in El Dorado, May 12, 1923. He moved here Aug. 192, and began independent oil operations. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Church of Christ and Cable Mason Lodge 299, Arlington, and of the Elks Lodge in Hutchinson.
Survivors include his widow, of the home; a son, Robert, 25 West 18th; three brothers, Alvin, Burdick, Reubin, Kansas City, and Wilbert, Chanute; three sisters, Mrs. W. I. Freedlen, Monterrey, Calif., Mrs. R. E. Engel, Vallejo, Calif., and Mrs. H. C. Coates, Kansas City; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a. m. Friday in Elliott and Gard Chapel, Rev. Dale Sexton and Rev. V. D. Love officiating, with burial in Memorial Park.
The family request money be sent to the Heart Fund in lieu of flowers.
