Mrs. Hannah Peterson Johnson, 66 years old, died at her home in Burdick Tuesday evening about five-thirty o clock. Mrs. Johnson had been having trouble with her heart the last few months and the cause of her death was a heart attack. She took sick Monday afternoon and never recovered.
Mrs. Johnson came to this country from Sweden in 1888 and settled in Riley County. After living there a few years she moved to Burdick where she had lived until the time of her death.
Funeral services are to be held this afternoon at two o clock at the home and two-thirty at the Swedish Lutheran Church in Burdick Rev. Samuelson will officiate at the services and interment is to be made in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson leaves to survive her, three daughters, Mrs. Anna Freedlun, of Burdick; Miss. Elsie Johnson, of the home; Miss. Esther Johnson, of Kansas City; four sons, Wilbert of Mcpherson; Albin, of Hutchinson, Reubin, of Kansas City; Edwin and Alvin of the home; a nephew, Clifford Johnson, of the home; One brother, Ben Peterson, of Emporia and five grandchildren.
