Born in Kiel, September 6, 1887, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Duecker. She attended Kiel schools and was married to Christian Roeck in 1906. For 40 years they operated Roeck's Bakery. Mr. Roeck died in 1949.
She was a llifelong member of St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church at Kiel, a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of the church, of the Kiel Frauenverein and of Paradise Rebekah Lodge.
She leaves two sons, Harry J. and Lawrence, both of Neenah; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Evelyn) Postel, Kiel; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Two sons and two brothers preceded her in death.
