Mrs. Gustave Duecker, nee Anna Griebenow, passed away this Wednesday The deceased, the daughter of the late Frederick and Wilhelmina Reseburg-Griebenow, was born December 31, 1866, in Germany. She came to America with her parents in 1868. A few of her childhood years were spent in Milwaukee, after which the family moved to Kiel, and where she has since resided. On June 5, 1889 she was united in marriage with Gustave Duecker, whom she leaves to mourn her death, with two sons, Werner of Pelham, New York, and Hubert of this city; two grandsons,one sister, Mrs. Arthur L. Kaemmer of this city, and two brothers, Fred Griebenow of California, and William of Rhinelander. One child died in infancy, and two brothers and five sisters have preceded her in death.
She was a faithful member of the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church, and the church Frauenverein. She also was a charter member of the Kiel Frauenverein.
