Private funeral services were conducted for William Griebenow, 81, from Griebenow's Funeral Home at two o'clock Monday afternoon. Fr. Donald Rhaesa officiated at the service and at the graveside service held at Riverside Cemetery.
William Griebenow was a pioneer resident of the Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) community, being one of the original founders of the Griebenow Company, along with his brothers, the late Fred and Oscar Griebenow.
Death came to him at Rhinelander where he had been making his home of late years. Surviving him are a son, Roland of Kiel, Wis.; three daughters, Florence LeDuc, Kimberly, Wis., Mrs. Fred (Lillian) Copp, and Mrs. Alice Erpe of Green Bay.
