Mrs. Locke Dies
LEOMINSTER June 21-Mrs. Mary E. Locke, aged 88 died late last night at her home, 16 Kittredge street, after a long Illness.
Mrs. Locke was born in Nova Scotia, and had lived here for 65 years. She was the widow of Silas Locke, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Carty.
She was a member of the Woman Relief corps and had been active in the organization up to the time of her illness three years ago.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Farquhar, Mrs. Eva Carter, Mrs. Carrie Hapgood; three sons, Joseph E., Benjamin S., and Charles L.; all of this city; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah A. Tucker of Winthrop.
The funeral will be Wednesday afternoon, at Haws Memorial chapel with burial in Evergreen cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited.
