Mrs. Andrew Carter

Leominster, July 17 - Mrs. Eva (Locke) Carter, 87, widow of Andrew Carter, 73 Burrage avenue, died in the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Lancaster last night. A native of Salem, she had resided here for many years.

She was a member of the Unitarian Church and the Daughters of Union Veterans.

She is survived by two sons, Building Inspector Lester E. Carter and Ernest J. Carter both of this city; two brothers, Charles A. Locke of this city and Benjamin S. of Westboro; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be in the Silas F. Richardson Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tonight from 7 to 8:30 and tomorrow from 2 to 3:30 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
