Mrs. John (Blanche) Lightholder, 86, 307 Court Street died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Heritage Manor, where she had been a patient for a month.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elias funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lightholder was born Dec. 26, 1890, in Streator, a daughter of Robert and Anna (Alexander) Holmes. She married John Lightholder Aug. 19, 1946. He died March 15. 1954.
Survivors are two step-daughters, Mrs. Gerald A. (Olive) Jones and Mrs. Gilbert (Margaret) Best, both of Sun City, Arizonia, Five grandchildren and five nieces including, Mrs. Lloyd (Winifred) Seibel of Streator, Mrs. Lester (Margaret) Johnson of Morris, Mrs. A.W. (Roberta) Benedict of Glen Ellyn, Mrs. Eldon (Norma) Worsley of Mendota and Mrs. Paul (Davie) Smith, Clevland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers Ralph R, and David F, Holmes.
Mrs. Lightholder has resided in Streator all of her life and was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church.
