CLAY CENTER -- Grace Kimbrough, 84, formerly of Clay Center, died Monday, March 8, 1999, at a Lawrence retirement center.

She was born Oct. 20, 1914, in Idana, the daughter of Harry and Effie Willits Mock.

She was a lifelong Clay County resident until she moved to Lawrence in June 1998.

She married Clayton Kimbrough on July 29, 1936. He died Feb. 20, 1981.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Kidwell, Lawrence, and Karen Bradley, Bern; a son, Lanny Kimbrough, Lawrence; a sister, Polly Hanaway, Goodwood, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Christian Church in Clay Center.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center.

Mrs. Kimbrough will lie in state from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Neill- Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to Clay Center Christian Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
