George H. Franson, 45, a Boeing supervisor, died in a hospital on Tuesday, November 28, 1961.
He was born to Effie Idella Willits Mock Roberts and her first husband Harry W. Mock. Sometime after Harry's death, Effie made the difficult decision to have their six children go live with other families who could provide for them better than she thought she could on her own.

Mr. Franson moved to Seattle WA around 1941. He was a past president of the South Park Community Club. Before his illness, he was active in Boy Scout work.
Surviving are his wife, Leta Fay; a son, Robert Franson, Seattle; his mother, Mrs. Effie Roberts, Puyallup WA; a brother, Harvey Mock, Spokane WA; four sisters: Mrs. Mildred Borden, Downey CA; Mrs. Ina Griess, Playa Del Rey, CA; Mrs. Grace Kimbrough, Green KS, and Mrs. Pauline Floyd, Santa Monica CA; four half-brothers: Lloyd C. Roberts, Puyallup WA; Floyd Roberts, Elko NV; Harold Roberts, Los Angeles CA, and Robert Roberts, Sacramento CA.
