Herschel Wayne WALTERS, 42, 1218 Jackson boulevard, died unexpectedly at 5:15 a.m. today at his home. Death resulted from an apparent heart attack. He was born March 14, 1936 in Rochester to Harold and Irene WALTERS and had lived all his life in Fulton county. He was married May 28, 1966 in Rochester to Linda BUTT. Mr. Walters was a salesman and distributor for Carl's Distributing, Mishawaka. He was a member of the First Baptist church and a graduate of Akron high school. Surviving with the wife are three sons, Perry, Tim and Todd [WALTERS], and two daughters, Natalie and Brenda [WALTERS], all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Stephen (Katherine) HARTZLER, R.R. 1, Akron, and Mrs. George (JeanAnn) DEATAN, Bourbon, and a brother, Lloyd E. WALTERS, R.R. 2, Rochester. A brother preceded in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist church. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church one hour prior to the services. The family asks that memorials other than flowers be placed in the First Baptist church scholarship fund.
