Funeral services for David E. Cockerham, 74, of Jonesville, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Young's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. W. D. Thompson and Rev. Bennett Aycock officiating.

Burial was in Huffman Cemetery at Manifest for Mr. Cockerham who died Friday, April 14, 1978 at his residence after a short illness.

Survivors include three sons, Milton and Fletcher Cockerham, both of Jonesville, and H. M. Cockerham of Otis; a brother, Rev. J. A. Cockerham of Winnfield; a sister, Mrs. Alice Franklin of Winnfield; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
