Funeral services for Mary Lou Drewett, 70, of Winnfield were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Thomas Fitzgerald officiating. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery near Joyce.

Mrs. Drewett died Saturday, March 4, 1978 in the Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro after a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Drewett; two brothers, the Rev. J.A. Cockerham of Joyce; and David Cockerham of Jonesville; one sister, Mrs. G. D. Franklin of Joyce.
