Mrs. Christina Klauck, 89, of 512 5th St., in Kiel, died at her home at 11 a.m. Monday following a lingering illness. Born July 29, 1871, in the Town of New Holstein, a daughter of the late Joachim and Elizabeth Roeder Beivier, she attended the parochial school at St. Anna, and on Nov. 19, 1891, married Nicholas Klauck of Kiel.
Following the marriage the couple operated the Beivier homestead farm for 13 years, then moved to Kiel. He preceded her in death in September 1944, three years after the couple celebrated its golden wedding anniversary. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers Society of the church. Survivors include three sons, Raymond and Isidore, Kiel, and Edmund, Whitefish Bay, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one half-sister, Mrs. Anthony Jarecki of Milwaukee. She was also preceded in death by a son, two sisters and a brother. A solemn high Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church following brief rites at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Peter Klauck, a grandson of Mrs. Klauck and a member of the Appleton Apostolate, will be the celebrant, the Rev. George Kiefer, pastor, the deacon and the Rev. Raymond Conard of Chilton, the subdeacon.
