Mrs. Nancy Ann Bridges Tesseneer, 83, died Monday, July 27, 2009, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Edgar and Bertha Jane Green Bridges.

She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and the Curves Health Club at Boiling Springs. She was a caregiver for many years, an avid Atlanta Braves and Carolina Tar Heels fan, a family genealogist and also loved playing the organ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Tesseneer; brothers, Clarence, Clement, Troy and Mont Bridges; and sister, Esther Bridges.

Mrs. Tesseneer is survived by sons, James Lynn "Jim" Tesseneer and wife, Jean, of Kings Mountain and Rodney Raymond "Rod" Tesseneer and wife, Wendy Jo, of Indiana; daughter, Carol Ann Tate and her husband, Roger, of Dacula, Ga.; sister, Hessie Harris of Boiling Springs; sisters-in-law, Lois Lassiter of Huntsville, Ala., Annie Mae Bridges of Boiling Springs, Doris Bridges of Shelby and Lillian Bridges of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Linda Oliver and husband, Chad, of Dacula, Ga., Dale Tate and wife, Renee', of Hoschton, Ga., Willow Tesseneer of Geoje Island, S. Korea, Sharon Boyer and husband, Duane, of Asheville and Kim Bishop and husband, Mark, of Pleasant Hope, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Shelby Hope, Emily and Ryan Oliver, Grace and Sarah Tate, Lauren, Jenna and Emily Boyer and McKenzie, Wesley and Mason Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
