Mrs. Lydia Fitch, 88 of 818 Tremont, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.

Born in Centropolis July 25, 1886, she was the daughter of Jacob and Ellenora (Ford) Kaub. She and Glenn C. Fitch were married in Ottawa April 17, 1910. They moved to Ottawa in the early 1920's. April 17, 1963, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Fitch died August 18, 1963.

Mrs. Fitch was a member of First United Methodist Church, What-so-ever Sunday School Class, Progressive Club and a charter member of MPM Club. She was a dress maker for over 60 years, working from her home.

Survivors include two sons: Russell R. Fitch, Branson, Mo.; and C. Carl Fitch, Lawton, Okla.; a daughter, Eleanor E. (Mrs. Henry Leeton Taylor), Raytown, Mo.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest Kaub, Baldwin, and Perry Kaub Camarillo, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.

Rev. Glenn Scharff will officiate at services at Dengel and Son Mortuary. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
