KIA February 1968 near Quang Tri in South Vietnam Moving Wall at Panel 40, Line 17 Joseph T. Bailey, 20, son of Ivan and Arlene Bailey died in a military hospital of wounds received.
He attended Letchworth Central School and jointed the Marines February 1967. He had earned school letters in football and wrestling, was an active Boy Scout receiving God and County and Order of the Arrow awards, a member of Gainesville Methodist Church.
Besides his parents he leaves his grandparents, Claude Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rekus; several aunts and nephews. Weeks Funeral Home arrangemnts, Burial with full Military honors at Maple Grove Cemetery, Gainesville.
