Find a Grave ID

Stanley Rutherford, former Town of Gainesville Historian, and his wife, Judy, read the Town of Gainesville cemeteries in 1993 and viewed other records at that time, up-dates have been done continuously since then. The Historian Cemetery Notebooks will be available with many other records at the Wyoming County Historian Office, Linwood Avenue, Warsaw, NY and at the Town of Gainesville Public Library, Church Street, Silver Springs, NY for viewing. Mr. Stanley Rutherford, Town Historian, compiled notebooks for all the Town of Gainesville cemeteries, all obituaries contained have been typed on "findagrave". Other obits were located using the website "fultonhistory.com" and have been added, many thanks are due this website for all the information that is found on it. As with all cemeteries there are unused purchased sites and gravestones set in advance, I have tried to not include these on findagrave.
I will transfer management upon request, include name of the person, the memorial number with your ID number.
Old Gainesville Cemetery had early burials transferred to Maple Grove, please take time to review Old Gainesville when searching for individuals as not all were relocated.
Any Maple Grove Death Record added to entry was copied by Stanley Rutherford from cemetery held records; the purpose to list is to show the name at one time did appear for Maple Grove Cemetery, Gainesville, NY.
