Friday Morning
Funeral services for E. R. Martin 61, who died in a Fort Worth hospital Wednesday following a heart attack, were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday from the Corley Chapel.
The rites were conducted by Rev. Fred Tyler, Fort Worth, and Dr. Matthem H. Arnold, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery with the Masons in charge. Masons were pallbearers.
A native of Navarro county, Martin was employed for many years by the Magnolia Petroleum Company, at the Corsicana refinery and later was transferred to Fort Worth when the local plant was discontinued a number of years ago.
Surviving are his wife of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. L. P. Tilton, and a brother, D. J. Martin, both of Corsicana. and several nieces and nephews.
