Lois and Winford lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a number of years, then Isle of Palms, South Carolina for a short while, then in Waco, Georgia, then Florida.
Lois was the daughter of Charley Eugene Stallings and Georgia Gertrude Duncan/Stallings. She was married to Winford Ira Smith on 4/17/1939 in Carroll County, Georgia. They never had any children of their own, but they raised Lois' sister's son for a number of years - Gerard Vinke. Allene was his mother and the sister of Lois.
