Funeral services for James R. Albin will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Albin, 76, of Warrensburg, died at 5:25 a.m. Monday in Decatur and Macon County Hospital.
A life-long resident of the Warrensburg area, he was a farmer and a member of the Farm Bureau and the Warrensburg Methodist Church.
Mr. Albin was born Jan. 6, 1898, near Warrensburg, a son of George Henry and Flora Belle Watkins Albin. He was married to Ruth Albert Jan. 29, 1921, in Warrensburg.
Surviving are his wife; one son, George, of Garland, TX.; one daughter, Mrs. Hubert (Marilyn) Bankson, of Warrensburg; two brothers, Orville and Irvin, both of Decatur; one sister, Mrs. Marshall (Ruby) Bankson, of Warrensburg; four grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death.

James attended Disbrow School and Mount Pleasant Shools, and went on to attend Browns Business School in Decatur, where he met Ruth Albert. James and Ruth, like their parents, were farmers and spent years farming north of Warrensburg in Austin Township until when after the death of James, in 1965, Ruth purchased a lot in Warrensburg and built a home there.
