Funeral Carnegie Woman Dies In Temple Hospital
Funeral services for Mrs. George A. Inglis, Temple, Tex., were held Friday, July 20, in Meyer and Meyer Chapel at Norman, with Dr. Phil Deschner in charge. Burial was in the IOOF cemetery in Norman.
Mrs. Inglis, the former Marguerite Goodwin, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Goodwin, was born Nov. 9, 1915, near Carnegie. At the death of her mother Marguerite made her home with her sister, Mrs. Thurman Repp and Mr. Repp. She was married to George A. Inglis, October 11, 1940, at Norman. Mrs. Inglis had been ill for some time when death came July 18 at a hospital at Temple.
She became a member of the McFarland Methodist church in Norman, later transferring her membership to Muskogee where she and her family made their home for several years. The past year they had made their home in Temple.
Survivors include the husband of the home; one daughter, Diane; three sisters, Mrs. Repp of Fort Cobb, Mrs. Merle Wildman of Alfalfa and Mrs. Mabel Robertson of Carnegie; three brothers, Dane Goodwin of Fairland and Orval and Stephie Goodwin, both of Carnegie; 19 nieces and 12 nephews.
