Mary Elizabeth Smith 91 of Springdale died Aug 12, 1993 at Springdale. she was born March 16, 1902 in Drakes Creek the daughter of the Rev. Benner and Hannah Drake Davis. She was a member of the Faith Regular Baptist Church and was a homewife.Her husband, Max Smith, preceded her in death in 1980.
Survivors include four sons, Garland Smith of Lebanon Ore, Jack Smith, of Pleasant Hill Ore., Denzil Smith of Houston and James Smith of Prairie Grove; one daughter Velma Allen of Ft. Smith; threesister, Mirtha Counts of Lowell, Bertha of Springdale and Geneva Faulkner of Huntsville; 11 grandchildren; 17great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. at Faith Regular Church and the Rev. Johnny Sisemore and the Rev. Johnny Sisemore and the Rev. Glenn Faulkner officiating. Burial was in Drakes Creek Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale.
