Mrytle Lee Counts, 88 of Lowell died Feb. 13, 1994 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. She was born March 18, 1905, at Madison County, the daughter of Bennard Davis and Margaret Drake Davis. She was a homemaker and member of Fishback Regular United Baptist Church in Springdale.
Her husband, John Ervin Counts, preceded her in death in December, 1981. One daughter, Betty Jean Counts preceded her in death also.
Survivors include six sons, Ervin Carl Counts of Rogers, Kenneth Vol Counts of Lowell, Rev. Curtis Dean Counts , both of Springdale, Rev. Bobby Dwight Counts of Bellflower Calif., two daughters , Bertha Powell of Springdale and Geneva Faulkner of Huntsville; 25 grandchildren;36 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren;
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Sprindale with the Rev.Johnny Sisemore and the Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial was in Drake's Creek Cemetery. Pallabearers were her sons, Ervin Counts, Kenneth Counts, Rev. Curtis Counts, Rev. Loy Counts, Rev. Billy Counts, and Rev. Bobby Counts.
