Their immigrating children were Johann David, Fredericke "Rachel," Christina, Gottlieb Adam 2, Albrecht Christian and Christiana.
Children Rosanna and Henry were born in Ohio.
They attended the Evangelical Lutheran church ("old St. John's") near today's Schwendeman Road on Ohio 676 whose members later associated with today's St. John's church at Lowell. German-language records of the earlier Watertown church are today at the Lowell church. Some copies of the records of the later years -- 1870s to 1900s -- at that Watertown church, also still in German, have been copied to the Washington County Public Library's genealogy department.
Germans from the nearby "Dutch Run" area of Warren and Harmar also associated with the German Evangelical Lutheran church in Marietta at Fifth and Scammel and with the German Methodist church at Third and Washington in Marietta (later called Trinity Methodist and now called Crown of Life Lutheran).
