Albrecht Christian Remmele was born on December 9, 1807 in Klingenberg, Neckarkreis, Wuerttemberg, Germany. He was the son of Johann Adam and Catharina Margaretha Remmele.

He married Catharina "Catherine" Rappold, daughter of Ferdinand Rappold and Maria Elisabetha Graesle, on April 30, 1833 in Schwaigern, Neckarkreis, Wuerttemberg, Germany.

They had 13 children: Johannes David "John", Christina Johanna, Gotfried Adam, Elisabetha Regina, Albrecht Wilhelm, Christian Adam, Matthaeus, Gottlieb Adam, Christiana, Rachel, Albrecht "Albert", Henry and Rosanna "Rosa".
