Joe Thomas Street, 79, Ripley, died at home October 14, 1969. He was a farmer, sawmill operator and owner of the Ripley Ice Plant. He was a member of the primitive Baptist Church. Services were October 17 at McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Davis Street, Ripley; three sons, Othor L. Street and J.T.Street, both of Ripley and Alton Street, Olive Branch, MS; four daughters, Ollie Mae Wilbanks, Ripley, Edith Watson, Memphis, Velma Harris, Oklahoma City, Nelta Hammerland, San Diego, CA; two brothers, Frank Street, Plant City Fla and William Street, Ripley; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
