BURIED THUR.
The funeral for Mrs. Claude C. Lee of Leton was held at 2:00 Thursday afternoon at the Dykesville Methodist church, with Rev. W.S. Evans of Shreveport conducting, assisted by Rev. Carter of Minden. The burial was held at the White Hall cemetery.
Mrs. Lee died suddenly at her home Tuesday afternoon from heart trouble at the age of 49. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Ezra Carter of Minden; two sons, Frank Lee of Shreveport and Halen Lee of the U.S. Navy, Gainesville, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Markham of Taylor, Ark.; and Mrs. C.H. Talley of Haynesville; five brothers, J.O. DeLoach of Magnolia, Ark.; Johnny DeLoach of Springhill, Lester, Wash and Ira DeLoach of Haynesville.
A member of the Baptist church, Mrs. Lee lived a very active life until her death. She was born in Haynesville and after her marriage moved to Leton, so was well-known throughout the surrounding territory.
