Children Rebecca, John, Andrew, Joseph, and David are noted as dead by the time of the 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY, with notation that their bodies were buried at Hufford Cemetery, one mile northwest of Rossville, Indiana.
The following appeared in "THE GOSPEL MESSENGER" on March 15, 1913. A notation indicates that it was placed by "Goldie Henry" of Kokomo, Indiana:
Henricks, Sister Polly, nee Hufford, born in Ohio, June 15, 1819, died near Honey Creek Indiana, December 29, 1912, aged 93 years, 5 months, and 9 days. She, with her pastor, moved to Indiana on a farm near Rossvi11e. She was married to Simon P. Henricks January 10, 1841, after which she and her husband moved on a farm in Howard County. To this union were born 8 children. She leaves three children, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Services at the Howard church by Elder Jacob Cripe. [Death certificate reports death as Jefferson Township, Henry County, Indiana.]
