A native of Piedmont, he was a son of the late Dominlck and Ellen (Michael) Arnold. He was a retired merchant and member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jane (Kyle) Arnold, three daughters, Mrs. James Noland {sic-Nolan}, Lonaconing; Mrs. Robert DeVole, Oakland, and Miss Catherine Arnold, at home; a brother, Harmon Arnold, Cumberland; a sister, Miss Nellie Arnold, Cumberland and a grandson.
A requiem mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Church and interment will be in the parish cemetery. The body is at the residence where the rosary will be recited tomorrow al 8 p. m. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
