Born the daughter of Jacob Skeen (1769 – 1835) and Alliphair Hearne Skeen (1802 – ). She married Elijah Bingham (1783 – 1860) and their children were William Alexander Bingham (1819 – 1890), Jacob S. Bingham (1821 – 1882), Allephina Ellenda Bingham (1824 – 1880), Elijah Bingham (1826 – 1899--the 2nd one, the 1st was born to Elijah's 1st wife and had same name), Araminta Bennetta Bingham (1828 – 1880), Parnell R. Bingham (1831 – 1905), Nancy Adaline Bingham (1834 – ), Thomas M. Bingham (1836 – 1900) and Alfred H. Bingham (1839 – 1863).
