The couple resided in the Kingsley area until 1956 when they moved to the Montgomery, Illinois, area.
Wendell passed away November 23, 1983. Frances remained living in the Montgomery area until her death September 7, 1991, in Woodruff, Wisconsin, at the age of 67 years.
Graveside services were held at the Correctionville Cemetery with Mike Stair officiating.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Wilbur McCleerey, one sister, Wilma Bowers, and one great-granddaughter, Sara Chada.
She is survived by one son, Robert W. (Lynn) Green of Oswego, Illinois, two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Connie) Duncan of Oswego, Illinois, and Mrs. James (Bonnie) Gasiorowski of Garden City, Michigan, two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Betty) Bottjen of Correctionville and Mrs. Gene (Claudia) Schulke of Storm Lake, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Ruth Hamman of Kingsley and Eileen McCleerey of Paullina, Iowa.
