Floyd Edward Roberts was born on December 30, 1936 in Waldenburg, AR to William (Bill) and Lolas (Henson) Roberts. He was the fifth of seven children. He came to California in the early 1960's. He lived in McFarland but in later years was a resident of Earlimart, Tulare, CA. Floyd was employed in agriculture working various farming jobs. He was married to and was divorced from Loretta (Lewis) Poynor. Together they worked in the Sno White Drive-In in McFarland when it first opened. Floyd is survived by his sisters Imogene (Jean) Pentecost of Earlimart, Gladys Gill of McFarland, brother Tommy Roberts of McFarland and Dorothy Mainard and family of Earlimart, CA. Viewing was held at Parkview Mortuary Aug. 6th followed by graveside services at North Kern District Cemetery on Aug. 7th.
