A native of Auvergne, Arkansas, Roberts lived in this area for 23 years and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by the widow, Lolas, McFarland; sons, Stanley, Truman, Arkansas; Floyd, Earlimart; Tommy, McFarland; and Marshall, Weiner, Arkansas; daughters, Mrs. Gladys Gill, McFarland; and Mrs. Jean Pentecost, Lost Hills; a brother, Ralph Roberts, Newport, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers at the funeral were Henry Mross, John Dudley, Bobby Jackson, Wayne Roper, Willard Pentecost and Leonard Pyles.
Interment was at North Kern District Cemetery. Parkview Mortuary handled arrangements.
