Mrs. Eveline Loretta (Lewis) Poynor Campbell, 67, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003 in Jonesboro. She was born April 3, 1936 in Balch, the daughter of Thomas Richard II and Ada Bell (Gill) Lewis.
Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Poynor, and her second husband, J. C. Campbell; her parents; and one brother, Tommy Lewis.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by one son, Charles "Rick" Poynor and wife Debbie of Cabot; two daughter, Ina White and husband Thomas of Judsonia, and Joline Carlton and husband Lee of Jonesboro; one brother, Harold Lewis of Topeka, Kan.; three sisters, Stella Farris of Wenatchee, Wash., Ruth Simpkins of Weiner and Barbara Camp of Amagon; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Mitch Ford officiating. Interment will be at Balch-Johnston Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Don Simpkins, Ronnie Kiefer, Mark Kiefer, Ken Fahr, Tony Lewis, Lee Carlton, Tom Wofford, Doug Gill, Hershel Gill, Lanny Camp, Jeff Camp and Al Campbell.
