OSCAR DALTON BOLES

Oscar was born June 1, 1895 in New Market, Madison County Alabama. He came to Texas in 1902 at age 7, with his family and they settled in Fannin County.

He served in the army during World War I in France and Germany. After his return he married Ida Baker on December 14, 1919 and was a retired farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Edna Ellen Pylant Boles; brothers Blanton, Sam, Walter, Larkin, Earl and Ervin and sisters Exie and Pearl. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Ida Mae Baker Boles; sons Jack Boles and wife Juana of Dallas, Texas and Kenneth Boles of Mesquite, Texas; daughters Roselea & husband Raymond Smith of Dallas, Texas; June & husband Jimmie Tinsley of Mabank, Texas; and Dorothy & husband Dave Stephens of Big Spring, Texas; sister Bertha of California and 10 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.

Services conducted at COOPER SORRELLS FUNERAL HOME Honey Grove, Texas. Rev. Ronnie Yarborough officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove, Texas. Family received friends at Cooper Sorrells Funeral Home.
