Funeral services for Roy Benjamin CALLAHAN, 91, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, with Robert Polvado officiating. Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.He was born June 12, 1912, in Drake Prairie community to Benjamin Paten CALLAHAN and Sarah Elizabeth (SHOOK) CALLAHAN. He died Tuesday, June 24, 2003, in Vian. He married Oletha L. MAYNARD on Sept 17, 1933, in McKey community. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2001. Survivors include four daughters, Cherokee, Wanda, Rosalee and Sharon Sue; three sons, Bill, Harvey and Hubert; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one sister, Juanita; and three brothers, Brice, Raymond and Bill. He was preceded in death by one son, Ben CALLAHAN on June 18, 1984.
