Hospital in Bonham at 5:32 p.m. Monday, May 14.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Peel officiating.Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will be at the Boyd Westbrook residence, 1095-20th NE.
Mr. Shelton was born Aug. 25, 1926, in Roxton, a son of Clyde Shelton & Tommie Farris Shelton. He attended Paris schools and served in the Navy following high school until 1946. He worked for Waddel-Connally as a manager in Waco and in Paris and continued work with the company after it merged with the Automotive. He retired in 1981.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Hill of St. Louis, MO; a son, Michael Shelton of Beijing, China; two grandchildren, Jennifer Shelton of Pittsburgh, PA. and Kaitlin Hill of St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Boyd (Clydelle) Westbrook of Paris and Dora Shrum of Paris, and one brother, Joe Shelton of Paris.
