VALLEY DEATHS Mn. Lena Crowder Mrs. Lena Estelle Crowder, 67, widow of the late J. W. Crowder, died Friday. Services were conducted Saturday from the Langdale Methodist church, the Rev. O. G. Ward officiating, assisted by the Rev. Otis Williams. Born in Harris county, Mrs. Crowder had lived in Langdale for 13 yrs. She was a member of the Methodist church. The survivors include three sons, Rube, Dan and Willard Crowder, and two daughters, Mrs. Harold Kennedy and Mrs. Tommie DeLoach, all of Langdale; three sisters, Mrs. D. Reed, Mrs. George Clem, and Mrs. Henry Crowder; three brothers, B. M. and Jim Jennings, both of Langdale, and Ed Jennings of Fairfax. Pallbearers were Frank Sides, Willie Sides, Addis Jennings, Marshall Jennings, Homer Lane and Doyle Adcock. Burial was in Langdale, conducted by Johnson and Company.
