Mr. Marlette worked at Carroll County Memorial Hospital for 36 years. He started out as a male orderly in the nursing program, working his way up to the Lab and earning a degree in Radiology and becoming an Xray Technician.
He was a veteran of World War II where he started out as a supply clerk and reached the rank of CPL.
Joe married Betty J. Breeden on December 18, 1948. They had three children: Deborah (Marlette) Clifton, David Kevin Marlette, and Melissa (Marlette) Hazelwood.
Services were held on February 14, 2009, at Graham Dunn Funeral Home with Burial in the IOOF Cemetery.
