Mary Catherine "Kate" Pike was the first of the eight children born to Jerome Bonapart Pike & Ann Eliza Mattingly. She moved to Tulsa, OK and married James O'Gara late in her life. He was a farmer in the Tulsa area. They had no children.

At age 88, she died as the result of high blood pressure and a stroke.
