Adelia Hanna

Adelia Dea Armenta Hanna, Miami, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, January 15, 1999, at Eastwood Manor Nursing Home in Commerce after an illness. She was 98.

Mrs. Hanna was born April 10, 1900, in Indian Territory, Oklahoma, to Spencer and Della Large Carnal. She lived in Douthat area, near PIcher, most of her life.

She served at postmistress for the Douthat Post Office for 26 years. She was member of the Douthat Baptist Church.

She married Henry Morris Hanna in 1919. He preceded her in death in 1967.

She is survived by one niece, Louise Dye, Miami and two nephews.

Graveside services will be Monday, January 18, 1999 at 2 p.m. at the GAR cemetery of Miami. The Rev. Clyde Stilley will officiate.

Services are under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
