Henry M. Hanna, 79, retired mail messenger, died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday at his home in Douthat following an extended illness.
Mr. Hanna, a native of Sallisaw, had lived in Oklahoma his entire live and had resided in Douthat for the past 53 years. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Douthat Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Adelia Hanna, of the home, one nephew and eight nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Douthat Baptist church with the Rev. Earl Ferris officiating. Burial will be in the GAR cemetery under direction of Hunter Funeral Home of PIcher.
Don Patterson, Bert Thomas, Don Olds, Sterling Smotherman, Ellis Harmon and Jack Randolph will be pallbearers.

**NOTE** Henry died at his home in Douthat. His Death certificate was from the hospital in Miami, both in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. We are direct relatives and family members were there when he died.
